Carp are considered a symbol of
strength. The KOI symbolize several lessons and even trials individuals often
encounter in life. They have a powerful and energetic life force, demonstrated
by its ability to swim against currents and even travel upstream.

The fish is the symbol of wealth or
abundance. Owing to its reproductive
powers, it is a symbol of regeneration, and, as it is happy in its own element
or sphere, so it has come to be the emblem of harmony and connubial bliss.
As fish are reputed to swim in pairs,
the pairs are emblematic of the joys of union and is also one of the charms to
avert evil. KOI will do anything to maintain PEACE and HARMONY and have been
known to eliminate a fighter fish if ever it was thrown in.
